The Good Medicine Indigenous Music Festival is a vibrant, genre-spanning celebration of Indigenous creativity, sound, and storytelling. Founded in 2025 in Houston by Aryn Ward, the festival was created to offer a musical experience that reflects the full continuum of Indigenous music: what it is, what it has been, and what it will become.

At its core, Good Medicine embraces a wide spectrum of genres, from Mvskoke and Yuchi traditional songs to classical, contemporary, experimental, and beyond. Each program is intentionally curated to highlight the depth and diversity of Indigenous expression, breaking down boundaries between styles while honoring cultural roots and innovation alike.

The Good Medicine Festival was founded to be that good medicine for your mind, body, and soul. Every performance is composed by Indigenous artists and guided by Indigenous creativity, creating a space that is both culturally grounded and forward-looking.

Good Medicine is open to all. Everyone is welcome to attend, to listen, to learn, and to bring a friend.
